I once watched a wig maker do a chignon for my mom back in the fifties. They grabbed handfuls of all different colors and combed them together to perfectly match my mothers hair. They used purple, blue, silver, red, pink, black and brown. I was amazed. So it is with my lemurs. In order to make them look so soft that you just want to touch them, I am painstakingly painting each individual hair on the animals, layer by layer, black, sienna, white and unbleached white. I am starting to get the effect that I wanted.
